Gloria Starr, personal and corporate image, etiquette and communication advisor, is the leading provider of impression management, etiquette and communication seminars since 1983.

Ms. Gloria Starr had the pleasure of being invited to the King Abdullah's Palace and meeting with Princess Hessah, wife of King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia. Two of the Princesses attended her Finishing School programs in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Ms. Starr was recently recognized by the United States of America as a person of extraordinary talent and ability and ranked in the top 5% of consultants world-wide. Ms. Starr is the selected training partner for the United States Pentagon for her Modern Day Finishing School.

Ten Things You Probably Don't Know about Gloria

Gloria was certified as a scuba diver at 40 years old and did her first open water dive at the Great Barrier Reef in Australia while working for Cunard Cruise Lines.

Gloria rented a six bedroom house and put herself through College living rent free and renting out the other rooms.

At 40 years old Gloria took up downhill skiing and admits to being more terrified on the slopes than earning her living as a self-employed professional speaker and executive coach and advisor.

When the manager of Destiny's Child called to hire Gloria, she thought Destiny's Child rescued children who had no where to live and she said "sure, I'd love to help." After booking the training programs, she looked up Destiny's Child on the internet and realized they were a famous singing group!

Gloria worked nights at the post office and days as a designer in a flower shop to purchase her first house at 23 years old.

Gloria has worked as a guest lecturer on more than 100 cruise ships and has traveled and worked in more than 45 countries.

Gloria's mother Marjorie, was a professional photographer with National Geographic and she grew up sitting in bird blinds and working in the darkroom developing photos with her mother. Gloria's mother is now a well known water color artist.

Gloria hiked the Great Wall of China while working as a guest lecturer with Cunard and Princess Cruise Lines.

Gloria's first public performance was as a snowflake in the Ice Capades. She was five years old.

Gloria has trained over 200 people as image and etiquette consultants. Mrs. South Africa trained with Gloria in 2003 as well as consultants from Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, Italy, Canada, England, South Africa, Jordan and Spain.
